To access Medical Language Lab content, you will always begin by logging into Canvas and accessing your Canvas course. You should not be accessing your class on any fadavis.com website.

 

1. Log in to Canvas with your username or school email address and password.

 

 

2. Click the link to your course from your Dashboard.

 

 

3. From the course homepage, locate your Assignments and find a link to launch Medical Language Lab content.

 

The images used here are samples - your actual course and assignment links may have different titles depending on how your instructor has designed them. Look for "Medical Language Lab" in the title, or chapter titles like "Medical Word Building" or "Body Structure" as examples of Medical Language Lab Chapter Assignment titles. Once you've found a link to Medical Language Lab content, click that link.

 

 

4. Next, click the box to Load Medical Language Lab Content in a new window.

 

 

5. If this is your first time accessing your Medical Language Lab content for this course, you may be prompted to enter an Access Code. If you have purchased a print copy, the Access Code can be found on the inside cover of your book. Enter the Access Code on the left side of the landing page shown below and click REDEEM CODE.

 

If you do not have an access code, you may purchase Instant Access by clicking the BUY NOW button on the right side of the screen. Note that you may purchase Instant Access or Print. Proceed through the checkout and remember to enter your Discount Code if you have one. Once purchased, close the checkout window and proceed to your Canvas course.

 

 

6. Once your access has been verified, you will be able to click links to Medical Language Lab content directly from your Canvas course and can begin working on Medical Language Lab Assignments in the new window. You will not need to enter your Access Code again.

 

 

7. Once loaded in a new window, your Medical Language Lab Assignment will appear. Click (1) Details to expand the view, and (2) Start to begin working.

 

 

8. When you finish your assignment, close out of the Medical Language Lab window and return to Canvas to continue working on other Assignments.

 

*Note: Check to make sure that you allow pop-ups in your web browser. If you click your class/assignment link from your LMS and nothing happens, it is likely that your web browser blocked the window that was supposed to open. To allow pop-ups, see this example for the Google Chrome browser:

 

 

Notice the icon in the URL field – click this icon and select “allow pop-ups”. This method should be similar across other web browsers.
