Quizzing Assignments
Quizzing assignments are quizzes designed to assess your broader and deeper comprehension of the content. Quizzing Assignments can only be taken once.
Most Quizzing assignments are around 15 questions, but some may vary in length. Quizzing assignments feature NCLEX®-style questions. Select your answer(s) and click Submit to progress through the quiz.
Once you've completed the quizzing assignment, you can click Show All Details (1) to review correct and incorrect answers, view rationales for each answer choice and see a page reference for where in your textbook the material in the questions appears. DO NOT CLICK Return to Assignments (2), or if you do click Return to Assignments, close that window and return to your Learning Management System to begin working on any additional Assignments. In order for grades to be recorded, each individual Assignment must be launched from the Learning Management System.
If you've selected Show All Details, you will see a rationale for each answer choice (1). You can also see additional information about the question, including on what page of the textbook the information in the question appears (2).
Practice Quizzing
To create a practice quiz, click on PLP (1) on the top navigation menu. Then, click Quizzing (2). Next, click Create Practice Quiz (3).
Enter a name for your practice quiz (1). You instructor is able to see the name of the quiz.
You can choose content by Course Topic or by Concept (2).
Course Topic will move in the order in which content appears in the textbook. Concept groups content under umbrella concepts and does not go in order of the textbook chapters.
You can Select All (1) to create a quiz covering all key topics in the class. Alternately, you can select one or more topics at a time (2). All topics you check off will be included on the practice quiz.
Next, select the number of questions in your quiz (3). You can choose between 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 questions.
The quiz will default to filter out questions you have previously answered correctly (4). If you do not want the quiz to filter out questions you have previously answered correctly, you can click No.
Next, click Start Quiz (5).
You can now take the practice quiz.
Review Results

Please close out of the window and return to your Learning Management System Course to begin working on another Assignment. To start another Practice Quiz, return to your PLP at the top and follow the steps listed above again. You can also click Show (3) to view the correct answer and rationale for one single question at a time.
